Christian Ed. for Thinkers

This is an hybrid format (online and in person). The group meets weekly via zoom at 9:15 am to discuss readings for roughly and hour.

Seed Planting

This is a special time for our families to meet and build that relationship with God. This group meets in person in the preschool big room at 9:30am.

Catechism

For students in the 7th and 8th grade to establish their own personal relationship with God. The group meets every other Sunday.

Music Ministry

David Lutheran Church has multiple music opportunities for every age.  Not only do our groups enhance the worship experience, they also use their varied talents to serve God and spread His loving Grace beyond the Sunday morning worship schedule.

ADULT BELL CHOIR

The bell choir is currently rehearsing on Thursday nights from 6:00pm to 6:45pm. If you are interested in ringing with us please contact Leah Fearing, Director of Music Ministry at musicdirector@davidlutheran.org

ADULT VOCAL CHOIR

Under the direction of Leah Fearing, the adult vocal choir welcomes everyone from 8th grade and older to sing with us.  The choir sings semi regularly at the 10:30 service. Rehearsals begin at 7:00p.m. on Thursdays in the sanctuary.  

SPECIAL MUSIC

We love to have soloists, quartets, duets, groups and instrumentalists of all kinds provide special music.

Outreach

Fellowship is one of the hallmarks of ministry at David Lutheran. Through a variety of activities, organizations and events, people are drawn together in joy and community. Getting to know one another, growing in their loving relationships and finding ways that people across many lines can communicate and engage in friendships, centered around Christ, are our goals. Food is a primary means by which folks are drawn together. Meals are often the center of our Congregational Life Activities

Fellowship Groups

Isaiah 41:10 Youth Group

This is a group of 4th - 6th graders that meets each month

for fellowship and bible study activities.

Quilters

These ladies meet weekly on Wednesday mornings to create beautiful pieces of art. They fellowship and many of their pieces are given to community groups.

Office Forms

Planning an event you’d like held at David Lutheran? Have an article for the Newsletter? Or maybe you have an announcement for the weekly bulletin? The forms below will help you and the David Lutheran office get those things on the calendar and into the hands of our congregation. There are deadlines for each form, please make sure to read those dates.

Events/Activities

To ensure that your event or activity is a success, the office is asking that you begin planning no less than four months in advance. This will allow for us to work together to make sure the best event is planned. This form must also be filled out for annual DELC events as well.
